The Mercator Guardian DC ceiling fan in Black (FC1110143BK) features an IP55 rating, energy efficient 35W DC motor with 3 durable ABS plastic blades and a maximum airflow of 10,330 m3/hr.
The Mercator Guardian is a great choice for both Indoor and Outdoor areas and is Coastal rated too with corrosion resistant components. This model has great versatility with 6 speeds, the ability to reverse for summer and winter modes, and a 1/4/8 hour timer.

The Guardian DC ceiling fan is a new fan by Mercator which features a sleek 3 blade design and an IP55 rating, making it a great option for every Outdoor living space. The quiet and high quality 35W DC motor produces a maximum airflow of 10,330 m3/hr. Along with the durable ABS plastic blades, this fan is a great energy efficient option. Suitable in any modern interior or outdoor area, reversibility airflow allows for use in summer or winter. The Guardian model comes with a remote control, which offers 6-speed options and a 1H/4H/8H fan timer function. These settings can be controlled by the included remote.
This fan utilises a DC motor, however has an internal inverter and thus is compatible with normal AC electrical systems. Cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.
