The Sanctuary (W-CFFCSAMB-B6BL) comes with a remote control and the remote features a timer with 1H / 4H / 8H options available.
Because the Sanctuary has a longer than average ceiling to blade drop of 405mm, and a wider than average blade span, we don’t recommend installing it on ceilings under 2.6m high. This fan should be positioned to allow at least a 70cm clearance between the tip of the blades and the walls, edge of roof or ceiling beams. Please note that for outdoor installations, the fan must be installed at a minimum of 1.5 metres from the edge of the roof.

The Sanctuary is power by an energy efficient DC motor consuming only 54.8 watts on the highest speed and a mere 12 watts on the lowest speed.
*Warranty conditions for fans installed in Enclosed outdoor areas are as follows: Fan must be shielded from wind and rain (enclosed area, min. 1.5m from edge of eave/roof under all circumstances). The warranty will cover open circuit motor faults, and remote control faults if not related to outdoor exposure. The Warranty will not cover outdoor related issues such as rusting, or failure clearly caused by water, moisture or wind. The Warranty will not cover external appearance or finish of any part of the ceiling fan.

This fan utilises a DC motor, however has an internal inverter and thus is compatible with normal AC electrical systems. Cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.
