We offer free freight for orders over $150 to selected metro areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane & Canberra). To check freight costs simply add the products you wish to purchase to your shopping cart. On the cart page (before you proceed to checkout) enter your postcode and state to reveal freight costs.
Areas eligible for 50% OFF shipping
All orders over
$250 $150 are eligible for 50% OFF shipping costs except for those listed below. To see if your postcode falls into any of these areas, simply add your items to the shopping cart and enter your postcode to calculate shipping costs.

Please note that some areas incur additional freight on-forwarding charges which are not included as part of the 50% off shipping promotion. If you live in a remote area that incurs an on-forwarding charge, in most cases this will be included in the shipping cost, however if it isn’t we may have to ask you to cover the on-forwarding charge.
GENERAL STOCK INFO
We keep most models on site however as there are hundreds of models (we have over 1,000 available) and there is always stock coming and going, dispatch may be delayed by a few days and in rare cases we not be able to fulfil an order in which case we will update you ASAP with options.
Once we dispatch you will receive tracking details. Once you place your order, please wait 48 hours to receive tracking details or a further update before contacting us as we won’t have much information before then anyway.
If an item is marked as PRE ORDER – the item is out of stock with the manufacturer however it is available to purchase and will be priority dispatched when back in stock.
Any items listed as PRE ORDER will have an approximate arrival date also published on the listing, keeping in mind that this date is typically the latest update provided by the manufacturer and can, particularly in the current climate be subject to further delays, around production issues, shipping or clearance through customs to name a few.
We will always try to ensure this date is an accurate reflection to the best of our ability however please bear in mind that we do rely on the information from the manufacturer. If you require a product quickly we would encourage you to Contact Us, our experienced staff can help you find the most suitable alternatives that are in stock. You are welcome to cancel or change your order anytime while you are waiting and we are always happy to assist.
Please keep in mind that this is only an estimate, we cannot 100% guarantee a product will be dispatched due to sudden stock fluctuations, our packing schedule and couriers. If a product is needed urgently it is advisable to call prior to purchase.
Please note that we typically dispatch orders in their entirety. This means if an order includes an item marked as ’24 hour dispatch’ along with an item not marked, the order most probably will not be dispatched within 24 hours.
Our dispatch and delivery service on all products is very prompt. Please be aware that we work within the normal business week and therefore do not operate on the weekend or public holidays. The time period around Christmas and New Year is also a busy time for couriers therefore please be aware that during this time, orders may take slightly longer to arrive. Please take this into account when following our delivery promotions.
Once your order is processed you will be sent a confirmation email with an estimated delivery period. This is sent after your automated order confirmation email. The majority of the time couriers are used to deliver your fans direct to your door. As courier’s schedules can vary, although we can guarantee a dispatch date, we are unable to pinpoint the day and/or time of delivery. We can however give you an estimate based on your postcode. The closer to the metro city you are the quicker your order is likely to arrive. The majority of orders will be dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse. For more remote areas, please allow for extra delivery time. In most cases you will receive a tracking number for your order so you can track your package directly with the courier company.
If you nominate a business address for delivery of your ceiling fans, we can have the order delivered during normal business hours 9am – 5pm (Australian Eastern Time). If you have different business hours, please state this on your delivery instructions. If there isn’t a reception for the courier to leave the goods with, please also explain where the goods can be left.
If you nominate a residential address for delivery, we require instructions for the couriers as to where they can leave the items if no one is home at the time of delivery. This could be to leave items at front door, back door, under carport etc. Please remember to fill the special delivery instructions area out before completing your order otherwise you will experience delays as we will have to contact you to gather this information before your order is processed. All orders require these instructions, even if someone will likely be home, if that person is on the phone or unable to hear the courier for example, they need to have instructions on where to leave the goods.
PO Boxes – As 99% of our orders are sent with couriers, we do require a physical address for delivery, not PO Box or Parcel Box addresses. If no other option for delivery, please Contact Us to see if we can offer any alternatives for you.
Estimated Delivery Time Frame
Our orders are generally processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days. If in unusual circumstances your order takes longer, we will notify you of the delay. Please note that we cannot give an exact delivery date or time as once your order is in the hands of the courier it is up to their schedules. However after your order is dispatched, most of the time you will be supplied with tracking details for the courier that you can track online. You can also contact the freight company for further delivery information.
Tips For Delivery
- As we keep the majority of stock in our warehouse, we can usually dispatch within 24 hours (applies to business days only).
- Deliveries to metro areas including Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, can expect their orders to arrive between 2 and 5 business days unless circumstances beyond our control occur which results in a delay in your order arrival.
- All other main towns usually can expect delivery between 4 and 7 business days unless the area is remote
- If you have ordered a customised product such as a lead and plug to be installed, you may need to allow 1 extra business day for dispatch.
We send our order with couriers, however we cannot 100% guarantee delivery times therefore it is advisable that you wait for your order to arrive before organising any tradesmen etc. If you need your item(s) urgently, please contact us prior to making your order so we can advise you on the expected delivery time and if there are other options for you to make for a speedy delivery.
Remember that our courier services do not include calling the client prior to delivery. Please do not request this as it will not be accepted. Therefore it is very important that you specify a place for them to leave the goods if no-one is around to collect them. If the courier is unable to leave the items due to lack of instruction etc, you may be charged for a re-delivery.
*Please note that all our freight couriers and delivery services are currently experiencing significant disruptions and staff shortages relating to Covid-19. For this particular reason, please allow 1 to 2 additional business days on top of your regular ETA for your order to be received. We thank you for your patience!
Here at Ceiling Fans Warehouse we do not currently deliver to areas outside Australia.
Dispatch & Shipping during the Holiday Season
Please be aware that we operate over the festive period of Christmas and New Years during business days only. During this time however, because both transport companies and suppliers are very busy, especially on the weeks leading up to Christmas, and many run limited services over this time, you can expect extra delays in our service over this period. We will do our best to estimate delivery times during this period which you will receive once your order is being processed.
