The Albatross by Martec is a large industrial style ceiling fan with 6 aluminium blades. The fan is equipped with a high quality brushless DC motor that consumes 35w on the high speed and only 5.6w on the low speed. A 5 speed remote control is included in the package. The large overall diameter makes this fan a great choice for those looking for a large fan to cover a big area, or simply a fan that provides an industrial look.
This fan utilises a DC motor, however has an internal inverter and thus is compatible with normal AC electrical systems. Cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.
