Most orders are The Summer DC 48″ in white by Claro (C2000/101A) combines the traditional 4-blade ceiling fan design with superb functionality and efficiency in operation. Featuring 4 quality timber blades spanning 48″ (122cm), the Summer DC is powered by an ultra-efficient DC motor that consumes only 19.5W at max speed and a 3.5W at low speed!
This low energy consumption can only result in lower operating costs for households year round as the Summer also comes with a reverse setting for use during winter months. Reversing the blade spin allows the fan to redistribute hot air trapped on the ceiling during winter when households turn on the heater.
Suitable for indoor installation, the Summer DC is controlled via the 6-speed remote control, which features timer-off settings (2hr/4hr/6hr) and a reverse function.
Summer by Claro Main Features
This fan uses a DC motor, but it has an internal inverter and is thus compatible with normal AC electrical systems. It cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.

I have two of these fans now – they are great! I love the LED light colour changes – cool white, warm white and an even warmer white (sorry not sure what it is called) but, all three options have a use. The remote is nice and simple to use, although there are dimming options however this model doesn’t actually have this function.
