This Claro Whisper DC fan is controlled with the included 6-speed remote control and is reversible via the remote for Summer and Winter use.
The Whisper also includes two separate rods in the box (125mm and 250mm long), so that you have the option of a longer rod that is perfect for higher-than-average ceilings. (All measurements are based on using the 125mm rod)
